To guarantee fill levels, cap placement, and proper labeling, automated optical inspection cameras are positioned directly along the high-speed conveyor lines inside protective glass cabinets.

Operating next to high-pressure filling equipment means airborne liquid mist and fine syrup splatter are inevitable. Tiny droplets of concentrated syrup continuously hit the camera enclosure glass, rapidly building up an oily, sugary haze directly across the machine vision lens port.

The Problem

Sugary beverage syrup dries fast into a sticky, cloudy film. Once that residue coats the enclosure window, the inspection camera cannot get an accurate read on passing bottles. Solution
